Treat NZ Event: Taupo Strings at Ploughman’s
Yesterday was our first “Treat NZ event”, and what a success!
The event was free for all to join and hosted at one of our founding restaurants, Ploughman’s pub int Taupō. Joined by the local string ensemble, Taupō Strings, we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀🎻🌈
The venue was pumping, with every table booked - there wasn’t an empty seat in the house (apart from those who were up dancing)! Everyone enjoyed the warm hospitality who provided drinks specials and a wholesome menu for those who dined in!
The Strings played all the well known jigs and reels for just over an hour, and had us all tapping our toes, singing along and feeling as if we were in a wee Irish pub for the night!
We were blown away by the success of the night and look forward to organising more events in our local venues!
