We’re making a special Treats of Taupō Recipe Book, and we want the cover to be designed by a local creative, and it could be you!

This school holidays, we’re inviting tamariki aged 5–17 to send in their artwork inspired by food, fun, and our beautiful Taupō region. The winning design will be featured on the cover of our printed recipe book, which showcases dishes from the 2025 festival chefs.

Whether it’s your favourite local dish, a scene from a café, or a dream meal by the lake, let your creativity shine!

How to Enter

1. Create a piece of art that represents Taupō + Food.

2. Send in your artwork to hello@treat.nz by Monday 15th July 2025

3. Include: name, age, and a short note about your artwork.

The Winner Will Receive:

• Their design featured on the recipe book cover
• $50 Kona Kones Voucher!
  

Finalists will also be featured on our website and at festival events!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Open to Taupo residents aged 5–17 as of 1st July 2025.
   
2. All entries must be original artwork created by the entrant.
   
3. Artwork must be submitted as a scan or clear photo (JPEG or PDF preferred). Submissions must be made by 11:59pm on Monday 15th July 2025.
   
4. By entering, you agree to allow Treats of Taupō to use your artwork for promotional purposes, both online and in print.
   
5. One overall winner will be chosen, along with up to 5 finalists
   
6. Any medium welcome: hand-drawn, painted, digital, collage etc.
   
7. The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
   
8. Winners will be contacted via email or phone. If we can’t get in touch within 5 days, the prize may be reassigned.
   
9. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
