Combining traditional, classic tastes with contemporary Kiwi fusion flavours, Urban Gusto is a truly unique experience and eatery to Rotorua’s culinary scene. Owner-operator Sid is one of Eat Streat’s most well known restaurateurs, having influence in three other fantastic restaurants! Meaning that Urban Gusto boasts a premium level of hospitality throughout your experience. Which is why this spot is now recognised for excellent service, attention to detail, delightful dishes and a welcoming atmosphere that has locals returning for more again and again!
Using fresh, seasonal ingredients, the menu is ever changing but always outstanding. At Treat NZ, we’re loving the Prawn Pizza as a spicy sweet treat topped with soft roasted capsicum, capers and lots of chilli! For a more substantial meal, get your teeth stuck into one of the beautiful cuts of meat and fish or opt for the smoked eggplant (which we can also confirm is DELISH!). Beyond the main plates, Urban Gusto offers a sensational range of entrees, sides, share plates and desserts. Check out their antipasti menu for picture perfect, super social share plates where you can enjoy a whole range of flavours! Moving to something sweet, I actually class myself as a bit of a Tiramisu connoisseur, and can vouch for this one! Made with homemade biscotti, if this doesn’t get your mouth watering, what will?... Maybe their innovative cocktail menu?
