“Our focus was on making a statement from the get-go,” says Lucas Fleury, director. “It was very hard work but very rewarding”. And the efforts weren’t only poured into the front of house, but in the kitchen too. For Lucas, the emphasis on responsible and sustainable farmed meat was imperative. For The Social Club, finding high quality, local New Zealand sourced produce was non-negotiable. And you can be assured that this sustainable ethos is carried throughout - from source to preparation and then to waste and food scraps. Your experience at The Social Club leaves out all the bad stuff to give extra room for more goodness! 🌿
So, we’ve covered the jaw-dropping, mouth-watering food menu... And the ‘social’, vibrant atmosphere... I guess it’s time to talk about the drinks! And we have a lot (of good things) to say. 🍻The Rotorua Social Club boasts one of the largest, and most unique range of tap beers in Vegas. Poured to perfection by an experienced, welcoming bartender, you instantly get the feeling you’re in good hands when you come in for a drink! And if you’re more into the harder stuff, you’ll be overwhelmed with choice of premium and rare spirits. Talking from experience, we’d also recommend taking a browse of the boutique cocktail menu, but be warned, we’ve heard rumours it’s nigh impossible to have only one!
In amongst the good vibes, great food and amazing drinks, The Social Club Rotorua hosts frequent events, ranging from Thursday morning yoga with the lovely Bruna, to late night dance beats and local musicians. You could go here everyday, and be happily surprised with a new experience that you’ll struggle to find elsewhere in town.
