The Taupo Treat Trail

How far would you go for the treats of Taupo? 

Welcome to the first ever Taupō Treat Trail! A 9km route, along Lake Taupo with a very tasty twist - five delicious stops along the way to keep you fuelled and smiling! Starting with registration at The Cozy Corner and winding around the lake to Café Lacus, it’s part scenic outing, part progressive picnic, and all-round good time!

There’s no stopwatch and no pressure, just good food, fresh air, and a little bit of cardio to justify the carbs! Along the route, you’ll be rewarded with a fresh treat from one of Taupō’s favourite eateries and cafés, each one serving up something deliciously different to keep you going.

Perfect for families, friend groups, pastry lovers and fitness enthusiasts!

Tickets include all five treats, hydration, your event entry, and recognition of completion!

Start times will be staggered between 9am and 10.30am, you’ll receive yours closer to the day.
